This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it a convenient base to explore all the best sights. Situated just across the road from the stunning cathedral, it offers a great view and easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with luxurious bathrooms and amenities like L'Occitane toiletries. The staff provides excellent service, with friendly and efficient employees like Sevda at the front desk. The breakfast selection is varied and delicious, with plenty of Bulgarian specialties to try.

Some guests have experienced issues with restocking toiletries and beverages during housekeeping, which can be a downside to an otherwise pleasant stay.

The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Vassy who provided excellent information on getting around. Fantastic location near Sofia church. Special thanks to Rumyana and Sevda for their attentive and efficient service. Club lounge staff was also friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was perfect, with a super clean room and a bathroom that was both clean and beautifully designed. The hotel facilities were great, with a well-equipped gym that allowed for a full power workout. The location was perfect, as it was centrally located and within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. the hotel was conveniently close to the metro station, making it easy to explore this city and its various tourist locations by walking or using public transportation. The staff were friendly, professional, and always available to assist with any queries or requests. The breakfast selection was delicious with a great variety to choose from.

Not obvious to find.

We were delighted with the service provided by the staff at Intercontinental. Despite our language barrier, the concierge were really nice too assist us in securing train reservations and even arranged for a staff member to drive us to the station. Their perfect and friendly service was really nice. I highly recommend this hotel for its really good staff and excellent service.

The room was beautiful and super clean, with a comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the metro and close to the city's main attractions. We also enjoyed the delicious room service meals we ordered.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the level of service provided. the luxurious amenities exceeded our expectations, offering a sauna, massage services, and high-quality in-room breakfast. the exclusive restaurant and bar/lounge area provided delicious cuisine to satisfy all tastes.

Cons: We had a minor issue with the shower leaking water onto the bathroom floor.

As a solo traveler, I loved the superb Balkan hospitality and the extremely professional and respectful staff. The reception manager, Ms. Sevda Hadjieva, provided excellent service and was always helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and well-selected, with delicious smoked salmon and a surprise treat of "banitsa" served in small pieces. The wide choice of coffee assortments and the use of glass bottles for water were also appreciated.

Felt extremely safe, no reason to complain.

This hotel proved to be the perfect retreat. From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly welcomed by the attentive staff who provided prompt and exceptional service. the luxurious amenities were definitely memorable, the private facilities were exclusive and the massage at the Spa & Wellness centre left me completely relaxed and restored. the buffet breakfast was truly outstanding with a range of options to suit any dietary need, and the location could not be any better.

The only minor issue I came across was that my room's toiletries were not consistently restocked during the housekeeping service. the hotel quickly rectified the issue when I brought it up.
